DAT BLASTED BIRD BE TROLLIN!
Intro: After a couple days of regretting about the previous RMT, I decided to make my own team for once. And I got destroyed on beta this one time by a guy who used Archeops really well (Thanks for the inspiration!) and I already liked fossil pokemon. Then it happened...
THE TEAM:Magnezone @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Magnet Pull
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Flash Cannon
ScarfZone <3 No, but seriously, this thing excels at its job: murdering anything that dares call itself a steel type. (Heatran says hi.) Once he get's rid of those pesky steels, archeops can suddenly come in and kill everything. (Not really, but that's what the other guys are for!) Once the steels are gone he isn't useless and can even work as a decent wall! Standard moveset too standard! HP fire for Skarmory and whatnot, T-bolt for nice, strongth STAB, Volt Switch for piling on "DA PRESHA!" Flash Cannon is filler more or less.
Archeops (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Defeatist
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- U-turn
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Dragon Claw
OMG BEAST! I needed a sweeper to clean up, so who other than my new favorite 'mon in the game? BandCheops is gonna kill at least 2-3 'mons per match and if he doesn't you probably thought he was useless, just like everyone else. Standard hit hard & fast moveset, U-Turn for moar pressure!
Gyarados (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spd
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Thunder Wave
- Dragon Tail
- Taunt
- Waterfall
ParaGyara is gonna troll you. Hard. It's main job is crippling everything with dat Thunder Wave, Intimidate is just boss, considering it lets it take on even non-banded Terrakion! Waterfall for basic strong STAB, Dragon Tail for phazing stuff like Haxorus that could otherwise be quite dangerous. Taunt for stopping stuffz like Toxic. All in all, Gyarados is denfinitley the "glue" to the team.
Jirachi @ Leftovers
Trait: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 224 SDef / 32 Spd
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Iron Head
- Body Slam
- Wish
- Stealth Rock
Yeah, this guy is uber now. (feelsbd) which automatically bumps me up to Noober. Anyways Jirachi is amazingly helpful, providing Wish support, haxing you to death, setting up Rocks. Jirachi is just boss through and through. If Gyarados is the glue then jirachi is the industrial adhesive. Absolutely awesome.
Latias (F) @ Choice Specs
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Draco Meteor
- Surf
- Trick
- Psyshock
First of all, I chose Latias over her brother for one reason: Bulk. She can just take hits better, plus base 110 special attack is still pretty darn high. Draco Meteor is gonna hurt. Trick makes Chansey a sad panda indeed. Surf to take advantage of the weather, and Psyshock is there for 'mons with higher special defence. A pretty good poke, imo.
Jellicent (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Water Absorb
EVs: 248 HP / 212 Def / 48 Spd
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Surf
- Toxic
- Recover
- Taunt
PEANUT BUTTER JELLI TIME! Naw, but jellicent is just awesome fun to use, he also works well as a bulky water and often comes in after Gyara goes down. If I had to change a 'mon it'd be this guy. I'm considering using Tentacruel over Jellicent. Input on this would be great.
Welp, thanks for reading, I hope you enjoyed it, and if you wanted to use the team here you go:
