Time Stock:
For a match to count it must be played with 3 stocks and a time limit of 8 minutes, time stock is available after unlocking additional rules. If a player doesn't have additional rules, then just keep rehosting so the person who has additional rules gets to set the rules. If neither player has additional rules, then use a referee player to set the rules and they will suicide out immediately. IF TIME EXPIRES THE PLAYER WITH THE HIGHEST NUMBER OF STOCKS WILL WIN, IF BOTH PLAYERS HAVE THE SAME STOCK COUNT, THE PLAYER WITH THE LOWER PERCENT OF DAMAGE WILL WIN. SUDDEN DEATH WILL ONLY BE USED IN THE CASE OF A PERFECT TIE.

No Items:
Items are to be disabled in this tournament, if a match starts with items on, the match will be quit and both players will have to pick the same characters and DISABLE ITEMS then both must select the stage that was chosen by the coin flip.

Customs:
Custom Moves are allowed, Equipment is not. When you are hosting a match, have customs enabled. Any player caught using equipment (the things that change your offensive, speed, and defensive stats, and can give other tangible benefits) they will be disqualified. Be aware, the equipment changes the numbers that will be inflicted as damage, so it will be possible to prove if you are using Equipment. We have an honor system for this tournament, but it is at the same time, enforceable. Let's have a good time and not have to disqualify anyone.

Referees not required:
A third party can be brought into a match to observe if desired, but they are not to interfere with the match, the only reason one would really have to do so would be to use time stock when they didn't have additional rules unlocked.

Best of 3:
in each set matches will be played until one player wins twice. The player who wins twice will advance to the next round.

Single Elimination:
Once you're out of the tournament, you're out.

Find your opponent:
You are expected to find your own opponent and have your match against them at a time that works for each player. If you bump into them at all, it is expected of you to share some form of contact information (FRIEND CODE for example) and set up a time and day for the match. Make sure to verify the time zone of your opponent so you don't end up both showing up at the wrong time wondering where the other is. Results of the match should be posted to this thread so the bracket can be updated.

BANNED GLITCHES:
SUPERMAN YOSHI GLITCH IS BANNED AND IF A PLAYER USES IT THEY WILL BE DISQUALIFIED (TAKE A LOSS) FROM THAT MATCH.
