| Well, Realgam hasn't done much of anything lately, in terms of tournaments and clan wars. So, here is a tournament to get us moving again! Here are the rules and clauses: Banned Items: - Focus Band - Brightpowder - King's Rock - Quick Claw - Razor Claw - Razor Fang - Red Card - Wide Lens - Scope Lens - Soul Dew Banned Pokemon: - Speed Boost Blaziken - Drizzle + Swift Swim - Prankster Thunderus - Shadow Tag Chandulure - Sand Rush Excadrill All battles will take place on the Realgam Tower server, and you must use the Realgam Standard tier when battling. That means that you must use certain clauses when battling. Those include the Sleep Clause, Freeze Clause, No Timeout Clause, and the Species Clause. Special Rules:This tournament is called the 2/3 tournament for a reason. You are only allowed to have four Pokemon on your team instead of the usual amount of six Pokemon. I am certain that this will lead to some interesting strategies, and I will outline those shortly. Also, each match between two players will be held in a 'best two out of three' format. This means that in each round, the player will face his/her opponent two or three times, and whoever wins twice will advance to the next round. Also, let me make it clear that you cannot switch or adjust teams in the same round. Between rounds, you can tweak your team, but you cannot adjust your team in the course of your match. Anyone caught switching or adjust teams in the course of a round will be disqualified. How having four Pokemon will change your battling style
- Obviously, since each player will only have four Pokemon, battles will be shorter.
- There will be less of a need for entry hazards, as less of your opponent's Pokemon will be affected by them. They can still be important at times though.
- Players will most likely not be able to cover all of their weaknesses, since they only have four Pokemon to choose from. Most teams will likely be offensively based as opposed to stall-based because of this fact.
- More obscure strategies will be used. For example, using Trick Room, Tailwind, or Rain Dance with Swift Swim can be more viable here than in normal battles, as you can potentially sweep a team before those field conditions wear off.

Ok guys, I hope that you all have fun with this, and I look forward to making this a great tournament! | |

Matchups will be drawn at random. When you finish a match, state the win/loss battle total when you post your wins/losses. For example, if I beat person X, and I won two battles against him when he only won 1 match, I would say something like 'I beat person X 2-1'. Round 1 Matchups- Spoiler:
(N/A) currently
I'm aiming for at least 16 people to join this. There is no end date right now to the sign ups, but once 16 people join, I will probably begin the tournament, unless there is more interest. Again, I hope that you all have a great time doing this tournament!
