Hello, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to Kingtrace's Mind Bending trip through anime and video games! I'm totally bored, so I made up this little game to see which of our users is the best at identifying gender's in mainly Japanese entertainment media!

Here's how it works:

1. I will have several images here. Each image will be assigned a number (or two, depending on how many people are in the picture.)

2. Your job is to guess if the person in the picture is biologically male or biologically female. I, of course, know already, so I don't have to guess.

3. I am aware that some of you may be aware of some of the characters in these pictures by name, identity, or gender. If you are privy to the details of a character's identity DON'T SAY ANYTHING ABOUT IT. Don't say their name, show, none of that crap. I'll kick your Nas.

4. This is for fun, not to spread hate. As always, hate speech will be punished severely.

5. To guess, type the number that the character has been assigned and the gender you think is correct. (EX. 1. Male)

Alright, it's Wednesday, and that means I have some guesses of my very own. I'm gonna guess that...

1. Is Wriggle Nightbug from Touhou, and that she's a girl despite the boyish face and outfit.

2. Is Faize from Star Ocean: The Last Hope, and is a male soldier from a doomed but advanced alien race. A completely amazing character from a great game.

3 and 4. Are Karau and Christmas, respectively, from Karau: Phantom Memory and are both women. Their relationship is extremely odd in a way you'd have to watch the show to even begin to comprehend.

5. is a character I'm not familiar with, but she is a girl. I'll be back later with details.

6. is the occult obsessed young man Fuyuki Hinata from the quirky comedy Sergent Frog. If you have Netflix, watch this anime. It's completely hilarious (and has adorable girl's love scenes, js.)

7. is an extra named Margo, a male artist, from Casserhen Sins, an anime about as boring as watching robots rust, which is ironically the subject matter. Still manages to have some emotional scenes, and Margo is involved in one of the best ones. Love this guy.

8. is the completely obviously female Paine from Final Fantasy X-2. Her blunt and down to earth style keeps her party moving in the right direction most of the time.

9. is the "boy detective" Naota Shirogane from Persona 4. The air quotes are because "he" is actually a young woman disguising her gender so she is not mocked in her male dominated profession.

10. is the loveable male mascot of Persona 4, Teddie. Despite being male he is incredibly androgynous and wins a cross-dressing competition hands down ingame. He is also a flirt. And a bear. Yeah, go buy a Vita and play the remake of this game. For real.

11 and 12. are the two female leads of Gei-Rei Zero. This kiss may appear to be romantic, but this couple is actually meant to be platonic. This kiss was also a 'complete accident', so no getting any ideas. XD
